Foundation for Homeless Veterans (FFHV)
At the Foundation for Homeless Veterans (FFHV), our mission is to ensure that no veteran is left behind. We are dedicated to providing every homeless veteran with the support and resources they need to transition from the streets to stable, independent living. Our journey is driven by the personal experiences of our founder, Patrick Kelley, whose service and subsequent battles with trauma inspired him to create this foundation.
Patrick Kelley, a US Army veteran and 100% disabled, has faced the immense challenges that come with serving one's country. After his military service, Patrick struggled with the trauma and psychological scars of his experiences. This battle with trauma, a common but often overlooked consequence of military service, ignited his passion to help others. Recognizing the urgent need for comprehensive support systems for veterans, Patrick founded the Foundation for Homeless Veterans.
His vision was to create an organization that addresses not only the physical needs of homeless veterans but also their emotional and mental well-being. Patrick’s personal journey and resilience fuel his unwavering commitment to the cause, inspiring everyone at FFHV to work tirelessly toward our mission.
We offer a range of comprehensive services designed to address the unique needs of homeless veterans:
